Nationwide Commercial Lines Producer Program

Nationwide's Commercial Lines Professional Development programs provide independent insurance agents with high-quality training solutions with a choice of innovative learning experiences, including the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) Designation Preparation and our Nationwide Commercial Lines Producer Program (CLPP).
These programs will equip participants with the knowledge and skills to excel in the industry. Our commercial producer program is comprised of Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) Designation Preparation, BOP and Commercial Package Product Knowledge, Sales Skills and Mentoring. This 14-week learning program (and 7 week accelerated version) is customized for each learner based on assessment of current knowledge level.

We appreciate your interest in our Commercial Lines Professional Development programs. Before you proceed with registration, please carefully read and understand the following disclaimer regarding the program fee:
Program Fee: The CLPP – Full version fee is $1800*, accelerated version is $900 and CLCS is $575. These fees cover each program's course materials, coaching, resources, and administrative expenses. *Full version includes the CLCS.
Payment Obligation: By registering for either program, you acknowledge that you approve payment via commission deduction to the agency's primary agency code (for Nationwide associates - charged to your disbursement code).
Refund Policy: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests received 30 days before the start of the program.
Registration Deadlines: To ensure you have an exceptional experience,registration for our Professional Development Programs closes 2-weeks before CLPP, and 31-days before CLCS.
This Terms of Use Agreement ("Terms of Use") contains the terms and conditions applicable to participation in the Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, Allied Insurance Company, Harleysville Insurance Group, their affiliates, subsidiaries, successors and assigns ("Nationwide") training classes and training materials ("Materials"). Please read it carefully. BY ACCESSING THIS TRAINING PROGRAM YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF USE AGREEMENT. You agree that you are either: (a) an employee of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, Allied Insurance Company, Harleysville Insurance Group, or an affiliate or subsidiary of one or more of these companies; or (b) an Independent Contractor who has a contract and/or valid appointment with Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, Allied Insurance Company, Harleysville Insurance Group, or an affiliate or subsidiary of one or more of these companies (hereafter, "Independent Contractor Agent"); or (c) an employee of or an independent contractor retained by an Independent Contractor Agent. Independent contractors are responsible for managing their own agencies. There are certain Nationwide procedures that must be followed in order to do business with Nationwide (e.g. use of a Nationwide approved system to transmit business). The information in these training programs may contain some of these required procedures and will be designated as such here or in other materials from Nationwide. All other documentation and information provided herein is for your consideration only, and it is not required that you use it. Nationwide cannot and does not guarantee that using any of the information contained herein will result in achieving your desired objectives, or that it is current or in compliance with your specific state laws. Nationwide continues to recommend that you consult with your personal attorney and business advisors regarding the specific operations of your agency. In consideration for attending and receiving Materials, you agree as follows: You will not discuss, notify, divulge, or relay any information, verbal or written, that is not known by, or generally available to the public at large and that concerns the business and affairs of Nationwide whether transmitted prior to or after the effective date of this Terms of Use and that such information shall be held in confidence, used solely for the purposes for which the information was provided and for no other purpose, and will not be disclosed except to those individuals with a need-to-know. You agree that participation in this training and access to the Materials shall not be construed as permission to perform any functions that require a license as defined by the applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, you are responsible for determining activities that require a license and which materials are necessary to perform your daily responsibilities. You agree and acknowledge that any breach of this Terms of Use may cause irreparable harm for which monetary damages would be inadequate. Accordingly, a breach of the confidentiality provisions of this Terms of Use shall be actionable and, upon proof of same in a court of competent jurisdiction. This Terms of Use shall be governed by the applicable laws of the State of Ohio regardless of any conflicts of law provision requiring reference to the rules of, decision in, and/or laws of another state or sovereign nation. As noted above, BY ACCESSING THIS TRAINING PROGRAM YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF USE AGREEMENT.
